I'm excited to share two new Latin events for teachers and enthusiasts! Even if you are neither of these, please consider spreading the word or referring a colleague.
Living Room Latin is an entirely new type of shindig that I've been eager to pilot for a long time. It will feature the activities and techniques that have been energizing and inspiring me most these days, all in the comfort of a Boston loft! Space is limited because of the residential setting, and several people have already signed up, so register soon to ensure a spot. Oh, and I will make you some scrumptious Viennese-style crepes! Date & time: Wednesday, March 7, 4-7pm
Greater Dallas | Greater Latin is a full-day regional workshop hosted by Garland ISD, who will have just hosted the Texas State JCL Convention (where I will also be a Colloquium speaker). We'll enjoy and practice an array of low-prep, high-payoff activities and techniques like the ones at LIMEN. Space is limited to 30 participants. Date & time: Monday, April 16, 8am-4pm
