My Outfits Are Ready for ACTFL

Are you?

Tomorrow I head to New Orleans to join old and new friends in the CI Posse, a growing group of twenty-odd teachers and content creators working together to boost joy and success at ACTFL 2018 and beyond. If you haven’t discovered it yet, check out the CI Posse blog, which includes my “Why I Can CI and You Can Too,” relating the meaning of posse (“to be able”) to the learnability of core teaching skills.

Captivating presenters will demo teaching techniques at our booth (643, right next to Señor Wooly) all day, every day, and we have three sessions on the schedule:

I’m also excited to attend as many as possible of the presentations that Fluency Matters has listed here. If you’re coming and aren’t sure where to start, check out their tips for making the most of ACTFL 2018.

Finally, I can’t wait to sample some of the many things to do and places to eat that Annabelle (Allen) Williamson has described here!

If you can’t make it to New Orleans, you can still follow the goings-on via Twitter and #ACTFL18. Either way, happy learning and happy interacting with colleagues from all over the world!
